At Lemon Tree CIC we are enthusiastic, open minded people with a passion for helping others. We are A force to be reckoned with!

 

Lemon Tree CIC is a mental wellbeing service run by volunteers which offers specialist groups within the community.

We run groups focussing on addiction and trauma, neurodevelopmental presentations, offending and rehabilitation.

Full training and accredited qualifications are provided for all volunteers.

Borne from a desire to think outside the box and to humanise mental wellbeing - our ethos is to provide a safe space for all people. We believe it is crucial to be nonjudgemental and to learn from each other’s experiences.  Our groups are an opportunity to and our team are highly trained in holding these spaces safely and with compassion.

  

We were founded by the Company Director out of a desire to offer more face-to-face contact and relational interaction than is currently on offer in the community. As a Group Analyst and with over a decade of NHS and NGO experience as a psychotherapist, clinician, manager and supervisor - this was a natural progression professionally and as a labour of love.

 

The team are trained comprehensively in group work and clinical presentations as well as the deep industry knowledge necessary to help facilitate the most complex issues that can arise during groups. Since starting off as isolated groups to now offering programmes, we are proud to say that we have embarked on partnerships with local government organisations and charities, grown our workforce and improved their skill set which has shown marked improvement in the mental wellbeing outcomes of clients after the groups have been completed. Our ethos is also to ensure the optimum mental wellbeing of our employees.
